Last Year’s Holiday Picture

I am going through pictures that I took last year and I realized that I never posted this one.  It is one of my favorites!  My husband is reading “The Night Before Christmas” to the kiddos, using just the Christmas tree’s lighting.  It was a lot of fun taking their pictures.  The only problem I have, is choosing which style I like best.  What do you think?

The pictures’ settings were 1/13, f-stop at 4.2. My focal length was 26mm.

VINTAGE:

BLACK & WHITE:

SEPIA:

Hey Tamara! What a gorgeous picture! I love the top two mostly because I think the premise of the photo, reading by the light of tree, doesn’t read as well in the sepia or b&w. You kind of lose the cozy feeling of the photo when it’s not in colour.
I’m jealous!! It’s a fantastic picture of a lovely family. Nice job!

    Hi Cate!
I think you are right about losing something with the sepia or black and white. My favorite is the vintage one…it kind of gives that warm feeling off. And it is a bit blurry, which in this case, I think is perfect. Thank you for stopping by!!!
