I found this bottle at my aunt and uncle’s house in New Mexico. The sun was setting and I had to be really quick with the picture. I found out later that this bottle was full of oil.
I have realized something with photography. If you can take a picture, make it black and white or sepia or leave it in full color, and it looks good in all three ways, then you have a good picture.
I can’t decide which of the three I like of this bottle. Which is your favorite?
P.S. This picture’s shutter speed was 1/50, f-stop at 5. My focal length was 38mm.

I am a big flower fan. I suppose it comes from working in a flower shop and taking their event pictures. I love to try and spy out all of the ways a flower can be seen and then try to show everyone else what I see.
This picture’s shutter speed was 1/125, f-stop at 8. My focal length was 105mm.

This picture’s shutter speed was 1/60, f-stop at 8. My focal length was 55mm.

I took these pictures at the end of July. I really like capturing insects on flowers. There is something surreal about taking a busy bee and make it stand still with your camera.

This picture’s shutter speed was 1/500, f-stop at 5.6. My focal length was 200mm.

Time? Who has time to do anything? I have been so incredibly busy. Honestly, I am trying to do way to many things all at once. Today, I am going to update this blog. I am going to show you some of the pictures I have been taking. I am still working on this site’s gallery – it should be ready, hopefully, by the end of this month! Possibly before Thanksgiving!!
I hope you understand why I haven’t posted in a while. I will get back on it.
